WG 6: Exposure of workers to naturally occurring radioactive material

The main ive of this WG is to support the management of NORM in compliance with international standards and according to best practice so that legal and regulatory uncertainty is minimized, and humans and the environment are protected. This WG will focus on:
• Assessing the situation and evaluation of the radiation protection practice in the NORM activities. 
• Organization of an intensive exchange of views and experience on good radiation protection practice and formulation of guidance on operational radiation protection in order to promote good radiation protection practice in ARAN participating countries.
